PYRITE CLUB - UE4 Art Deco Lounge

I'm proud to present a scene I have been working on that began during Clinton Crumpler's UE4 Modular Environments course at CGMA. It's taken me a few months of off and on work with the help of many friends, Dekogon colleagues and mentors along the way. Thank you all!

I wanted to depict the aftermath of a New Year's Eve party set in 1934, somewhere in the US. Prohibition had ended just a few weeks prior. It was really just an excuse to delve deep into my favorite visual arts period, Art Deco. The scene consists of recreations of vintage designs and my own interpretations of themes fitting the time. The work of Arkane Studios and Irrational Games were also major inspirations.

Enjoy!
